“And you’re saying you know me?” Sirius drawls, leaning back in his chair. “You’re the only one?”
The half-arsed derision in his tone doesn’t seem to surprise or intimidate Remus. He only smiles, knowing.
It is one thing to love a person; it is quite another to see them as they truly are and to love them all the same. And sometimes, Sirius thinks, he’d rather die than let anybody see beneath the defensive facade of his brave face.
From 1971 to 1978, the Hogwarts years of obsession, betrayal, recklessness, lies, too much drink, insecurity, and all eclipsing sexual frustration. Seven years of Sirius Black’s insufferable god-complex, of Remus Lupin’s most private shames, of secret relationships, awkward hookups, James Potter’s blunt advice, and more yearning than sense. Seven years for Sirius to finally admit to himself that what he wants is not only to be loved, but to be known entirely. And therein lies the difficulty.

The room goes quiet. Tony’s breath catches in his throat. The dread in his chest tightens around his ribs, making it hard to breathe.
“Steve,” he whispers quietly. “Steve, it’s me, Tony.”
Steve’s brow furrows a little. “...Tony?” he says, and Tony looks at his eyes, those bright blue eyes, and doesn’t find any recognition in them at all, no matter how hard he searches. “I’m sorry, but have we met?”

There’s a tap on his shoulder, and Steve turns to see Hoodie-guy smiling. Steve opens his mouth to say do you need something when he realizes why the man’s face is so familiar.
“Hi,” says Tony Stark.
Steve blurts the first thing he thinks. “Fuck.”

After a few months together, and being intimate, it was like a switch had been activated for Spencer. He kept being adventurous in the bedroom, asking and telling Aaron that he wanted to try things. Aaron had obliged because it had been fun indeed. They knew what riled them up, and what could be a trigger so they were safe.
However, just as he tried keeping up with Spencer, he had to be the voice of reason sometimes.

Akutagawa’s response comes out in shaky sobs. “I can’t, Jinko—you don’t understand—my body—”
“Is it because you’re sick? I’ll be careful, I promise. I just want you to get better, Akutagawa."
The other man shivered at the usage of his name, and didn’t say anything. His wrists were small and bony, and Atsushi could wrap his fingers all the way around them. He stared down at Akutagawa’s hands; his carefully manicured fingers were trembling, the callouses on his palms seeming almost out of place against his porcelain flesh. Without thinking, he lifted Akutagawa’s hand, and kissed his knuckles gently.
Akutagawa stared at him with disbelief, his face still a pretty pink, lips parted. Atsushi met his hazy grey eyes.
“It won’t ever go away if you don’t let someone help,” Atsushi said gently, “Please let me help, baby.”
i.e. atsushi fucks aku so he doesn't die
