“People make… mistakes,” Noel says. Arthur opens his mouth to argue, but Noel shushes him. “Don’t. Just listen to me. They told me that often after I got out of the war, told a lot of us it, over and over until it started to make me sick. Didn’t believe ‘em, of course. I’m not sure if I still do.”
Losing himself in memory, Arthur needs a little help from Noel and John to understand he deserved to be happy.
