Summary
Taehyung chuckles softly; his eyes twinkled with mirth before responding, “ We’ve heard many things about this place--” he waves his hand around in a wiping motion-- “ Heard things about you.” Taehyung says, then points at Seokjin.
“ Such as...” Seokjin trails off, waiting for Taehyung to continue.
“ They say you have one foot on the other side. That’s a dangerous game to play, Seokjin. Makes you interesting, though.”
Seokjin hums, then turns to grab the remainder of his drink. “ I didn't peg you as one to believe everything that you hear, Ringmaster.” He turns around to find that Taehyung has vanished much like how he appeared: without a whisper.
Thirty years ago, Kim Seokjin signed a contract with a demon to save the souls of his best friends from a dark witch. Now, Seokjin is a peacekeeper in a downtown district of Chicago called Old Town, where supernatural beings reside. The power balance shifts upon the election of a new mayor, and the arrival of a circus with a mysterious ringleader. Suddenly, Seokjin must undercover the source of corpses washing ashore, and cryptic visions of the future.

He must share a court and locker room with a guy who does his best to rub Hoseok up the wrong way. It’s especially frustrating because Kim Taehyung is extremely hot, and Hoseok’s bad case of tennis elbow means he can't jerk himself off thinking about his stupid, cute smirk.
He has enough tension in his life and certainly doesn’t need said rival following him into the showers to rub him up the right way…
