    “I’ll write you out my will,” he warns May over the phone, from where he’s had to temporarily set up camp at Matt’s desk. “I was going to give you my Emperor Palpatine.”

    May sighs. She sounds tired. “I’d tell you about how you don’t need a will for at least another sixty years, Pete, but there’s a measles outbreak and a kid’s just walked in with a Monopoly hat stuck up his nose.” She hangs up.

    The one where Peter writes a will, because he's Spider-Man so he'll probably die soon and he should get ahead of the game. And can people stop hitting on his aunt!!??

    “You didn’t get my coffee,” his dad says, halfway through his burrito. He has been in a state of low, simmering irritation all evening, and apparently this is how long it took for him to find a reason to blame Peter for it.
    “You didn’t tell me to get coffee.”
    “Do you have eyes?”
    “Yes,” Peter says. “I have eyes.”
    “So you could have checked if we needed coffee without me telling you every little thing, Jesus Christ.”

    Peter just wants to make it to sixteen so he can escape this life and strike out on his own. He has a plan and nothing will ruin it.
    Not even Tony Stark quite literally crashing into his life.
