The video opens with an air of domesticity and almost innocence to it that foreshadowed nothing of what would follow. A quick sweeping shot of a bedroom, lights low, before the camera settles on a man standing in front of a mirror. The atmosphere is intimate and cozy. Ilya Rozanov is just finishing pulling the jersey over his head, abs and a trail of hair disappearing under a sea of blue. He turns to look in the mirror. His black boxer briefs visible where the jersey ends. HOLLANDER spelled across the back with 24 in the center

Well it's yet another Hollanov getting outted Pre-Tuna melt fic because this one is haunting my brain.
How will the boys handle it when a stupid video they decided to make gets posted at the start of the 2016 season? Before they've ever had a chance to establish what they want with each other. What will the consequences be in a era before Scott Hunter kissing on the ice and Ilya's still the captain in Boston. -

Summary
In room 1410, Ilya Rozanov is ready to walk out the door after successfully getting his 19 year old hockey rival into bed. He knew how to make this moment happen and he knows what they have to be to each other now that it's over. But as he turns the doorknob to leave, he's stopped with questions he never expected. And giving Shane Hollander what he needs in that moment will change everything.
I note which chapters are SFW vs NFSW, because many of you said knowing meant the difference between reading this on your lunch break or having to wait. (Thank you for wanting to read my work that much.)
Covers the first two years of their rookie seasons (which is mostly skipped over in the show/books). Canon divergent from the first hookup seen in HR s01ep01. Most things are from the show but the timeline is a mix of both; Hunter and Marleau are aged up per the show instead of as young as they are in the books. (Also, Shane and Ilya don't wait *two years*, they stick to the book timeline. IYKYK.)

Summary
Four years ago, Shane Hollander suffered a career-ending injury after getting hit by Marlow on the ice. Despite Ilya’s best efforts to reach out, he never hears from Shane again. Nor does anyone as Shane Hollander disappears from the public eye. Complete radio silence.
That is, until Ilya receives a call from his agent, asking if he is willing to ‘say a couple of nice words on camera about Shane Hollander’. Why? Oh. Because he will be inducted in the MHL Hall of Fame in three weeks. And said Canadian golden boy will likely be there.
Ilya is totally okay about this, of course.

Summary
Ilya was only a few strides behind Shane on the ice.
He clocked the angle before the hit even landed; Marlow coming in too hot, too fast, shoulder high. Shane turned and slowed at the wrong moment, skates clipping, balance gone.
Impact.
The sound carried oddly through the arena, duller than boards, sharper than ice. Shane went down hard, helmet skidding, body twisting. And then it all happened at once. Skates tangled. Marlow stumbled over him as he fell, too. A skate’s blade flashed too close, too sharp.

Shane's injuries during the Boston/Montreal game are much more life-threatening than in canon. Ilya's quick thinking and bone-deep instincts are the only reason he survives.

Summary
It's Ilya Rozanov's first winter in retirement. He has some time and a heart to fill, the world's best in-laws, and a husband who will let nothing go wrong. Somewhere, there's a little kid that needs them.
Or, Shane and Ilya become foster parents, meet a little girl with spina bifida, and have some adventures in the unfamiliar world of medical foster parenting and (eventually) sled/adaptive hockey.

Summary
It was one time.
Statistically, condoms had a 98% success rate when used properly. That meant that the condom packet had to have been perfectly sealed, the latex itself had to have no tears or degradation in the material, and it had to be worn as directed.
So why?
Why did it feel like the universe was saying fuck you in big bold letters and giving him double birds at the same time?
So why did the blue lines and the pregnant on the two tests sound so fucking fake?
Or: Where Shane finds out he's pregnant after their first time together in 2013 despite wearing protection, because the universe loves to fuck with him.
