Summary
Scar knew that Grian was an avian. That in and of itself was a simple enough concept. The corresponding traits came with him being an avian: sleeping at high elevations, squawking every two minutes, and rubbing his “beak” on every surface possible.
Those things were more to be expected in Scar’s opinion, who’s not an avian and knows little to nothing about bird hybrids. There were other things that Scar hadn’t expected.

Grian's an avian and his instinct take a hold of him every once and a while, and sometimes that makes for some crazy interactions. (Aka: bird insticts go brrr).

Summary
He was so close to just going back to bed before he heard something that very quickly brought him back to all of his senses. An overly loud yell or plea was what he had heard.
Great, now Horror was going to have to deal with whatever was happening. On top of that, there wasn't going to be any help out on this one.
Tldr; Horror has a miscommunication between Killer and the new guy. They then worked everything out and Killer and Cross go have their own fun offscreen.
