Summary
Another huskerdust overlord Husk AU! I did my best to keep everyone somewhat in-character. I'm a Linguistics major so obviously Angel's accent is typed out with some lessening for readablility. Definitely a slowburn and there are some demons that aren't canon in the show for plot but also because Angel is sad so when I write him I gotta give him friends.

The sorries got softer and more distorted with each sob that left the mouth of the spider spoken over and over like a prayer. Husk's eyes finally snapped open as he suddenly took a strangled breath, choking on the blood within his throat. Angel shut his mouth quickly, trying to make his breathing look normal even if it was far from it.
“You are mine Angel. Your soul is mine. If I want to bet you I fucking will.”
Valentino’s hand grabbed Angel by the jaw, dragging him down to look Val in the eye, an inch away from his face.
“You think I won’t win? Are you fucking doubting me? ME?! I fucking MADE YOU Angel, and you have the balls to DOUBT ME?!”
Spit flew from Valentio’s mouth as he yelled those words, Angel’s face moved for emphasis every time.
“N-n-no no-not at all Val. I-I would neva doubt you.”
Valentino brought Angel’s face even closer to his, making Angel’s feet unsteady beneath him.
“Get the fuck out of my face. You’ve made me sick to look at you.”

"It seems our dear Princess is pursuing a rather silly endeavor." He answered, hands gesturing to the television dramatically, eyes darting back to follow.
Husk barked out a laugh. "She wants to get demons sent to Heaven?" He questioned incredulously, paw coming up to cover his mouth as he giggled.
Alastor's smile only grew at Husk's apparent agreement and to the hilarity of the situation. "It's truly baffling, isn't it?" A rowdy laugh track could be heard from his radio.

Val grabbed his hand and pulled Angel close to him. He exhaled pink smoke into his face and Angel felt himself relax into Val’s grip. Val used another hand to grab Angel’s chin tightly, claws digging in but not enough to break his skin.
“You’re not my problem anymore,” Val whispered into his ear. “I have no use for addict trash like you.”
OR
When Val loses Angel to the gambling overlord but makes sure Angel believes he simply didn't want him anymore. Angel is left devastated and unsure of what his new life and master will be like.
