Emma held on. “Not you! You’re not stupid at all. They’re stupid.” She scoffed. “How did that meeting even go? ‘Our heroes are inconsiderate jerks who just mount up and thrust, and that is very heroic.’”
“I don’t know,” Regina said with a hint of a smile, slipping out of her arms. “All the heroes I know are self-righteous jerks, so I believe it.”
Baffled, Emma asked, “What?”
Regina raised an eyebrow and said “I’m sure the Charmings would never do anything so improper.”
“Gross,” Emma groaned. “But,” she conceded, “they are pretty conservative about random things.” She saw Regina’s grin get positively wicked. “Wherever you’re going, stop,” she said, half serious and half joking.

Summary
Potion making was never Emma's forte.
She was left alone. She messed up.
And if the result was a potion that allowed them full access to one another's minds -- full access to everything the other /felt/ --- well.
All's well that ends well, right?--
“That potion was intended to make our magic work in tandem. It seems you overshot.” Regina put a cork in the vial, setting it into a wooden box along with the one containing the smoke. She flipped the lid closed, deftly closing a series of locks and finally applying a magical seal. Emma found herself watching the way her fingers moved along the pieces of metal before she caught herself, tearing her eyes away. “You definitely managed to screw things up in an...interesting manner this time.” Any hint of embarrassment, any hint of that flush dissipated, her normal confidence restored. Instead, Emma felt something else push to the front of Regina’s mind.

“Emma… Storybrooke is the size of a shoebox. I know every person in this town and believe me, none of them are viable options.”
“Why?”
“Because… We have history.”
Emma scoffs.
“So what? We have history and I would fuck you.”
Or, Emma would swear Regina is trying to kill her with just how much she's teasing her. (The thing is, Emma will most definitely let her).
