Summary

Summary
Maester Aemon still has his sight when Jon Snow arrives at Castle Black to swear his vows. Targaryen’s might have typically had pale hair and purple eyes, but Maester Aemon would recognise his family anywhere.
His vows have been tested three times before. This is his fourth and final test and, after nearly eighty years of being a bystander at the Wall whilst his family destroyed themselves, Aemon decides that enough is enough. He’s been a man of the Nights Watch for most of his life; but he’s been a Targaryen all his life.
He might be old and trapped at the Wall, but he grew up in Kings Landing and no one knows the Game of Thrones like he does.
And so, everything changes.

Wei Wuxian claims he found it. Jiang Cheng learns to trust his brother more than ever. Nie Huaisang is smarter than he looks and Lan Wangji will still pine even if Wei Wuxian knows they’re supposed to fall in love. At least the token is taking care of most problems.
Perhaps we can hope for a happier ending this time.

Drogon dies in chapter 11, while Jon immediately gains Dany's next biggest dragon without her knowledge or approval. Yet another Jon wins at Dany's expense even after murdering her story. Plus Val being allowed to run around threatening Dany's life more than once, just because Dany exists and she can't handle that Jon loves her. Reads like a stealth Jon wank fic because everything keeps going right for him without even trying while Dany keeps losing more and more. Endless angst to the point where I gave up.
