Still a beloved scenario and it reminds me of why we write fanfic in the first place! You put Leo and Reyna into a scene that only they can inhabit and built a dynamic that only they can really engage in. Reyna's emotional walls and her inability to let others in, especially when she knows they might not be able to help her (ex: with her dogs in this case), was something so raw that Riordan didn't really explore. Leo's need to prove himself, especially through service to others and as the group's punching bag, paralleled Reyna's journey so well (that to be used is better than being forgotten).
Highly, highly recommended collection of fanfics that explore fun AUs of the superior HoO character pairing/dynamic (this is a joke do not sue me Penguin Books/Disney). My personal favorite is 'Supernatural' (Ghost AU), but all of them are so compelling! They all explore intimacy and hypothetical in so many ways and helped redefine my own thoughts around relationships. Anyways, Leo x Reyna should not have been so hated on during the fandom's last gasps at relevancy way back when; they are everything and I love them.

This is THE Hanna/Frozen 2 sequel to me, everything else just pales in comparison. All of the things that had bothered me about the canon (the Hans-shafting, how Kristanna would pan out, Anna's self-image in the context of their universe) were handled so well! Your world of political intrigue, mythology, and mundanity was truly everything I could've ever asked for in a fic and more than I would've dreamed. You truly make a reader fall in love with Anna, Hans, and every other character in this universe. It can be so hard to nail the little jokes that define a character's voice and reasoning, but you got everything!
I reread this sometimes just for your end notes and the reminders of life back in the late 2010s. I'm reminded to keep hoping and to keep fighting for a happy ending, however things may seem now. This fic reminds me not to settle for half measures or half loves, especially because love can truly change the world. In truth, I partially made this account to leave you a review that let you know you deserve the world for this fic. I really hope you'll keep writing because I'll certainly keep reading!
