Over the Glowstick’s forehead, in a neat font, letter after letter, a phrase ‘We’d need to do more tests’ started appearing, before erasing itself and conjuring a new one: ‘to know for sure’.
Sasuke blinked. Then he blinked again.
The Guy From Before smiled sadly at Sasuke, and then shot a side-eye to the Glowstick. Neatly, over the maybe-tennis headband on his forehead, new words started forming as well, syncing to his lip movements: ‘I will report to Hokage-sama then’.
‘It is quite unfortunate that this happened to young Uchiha-san’, said the forehead of Glowstick.
(SI!OC wakes up in a body of an 11-year-old Uchiha Sasuke with barely any memories of his own, and plenty of unresolved trauma, PTSD-induced flashbacks-maybe-memories and raging hormones of his new body. Or was it his body all along? No matter if maybe!Sasuke is comatose, or dead, or reincarnated, or having a particularly bad trip one thing is for certain--he can't speak Japanese for shit.)

Tenten, by nature, is an opportunist.

Madara's genin let out outraged shrieks that he can mark as a proud Seven-out-of-Ten on an Uchiha Display of Emotions chart. He was glad to see himself rubbing off on a bunch of civilian children and Hashirama's goddamn child.
Or: Madara should've never taken a genin team, except he is glad he did because his kids are better than Tobirama's feral bunch, thank you very much.

“It’s fine,” Senju Hashirama says sympathetically, arms raised as if he is currently trying to avoid scaring off a small animal. “You don’t have to hide from your own uncle!”
“What,” Uchiha Madara says, eyes bulging out of his eye sockets, no traces of other emotions visible on his face.
“Madara,” Shodaime Hokage turns around, his red-and-white robes fluttering around him. “Madara! You never told me--you and my baby brother--you!”
Kotetsu is very lost.

"Madara, prithee. Thou art scaring that lad," says not-Shodaime, regarding Shisui with a sad look.
And Shisui is--well. Shisui howls, bending in half, open palm coming to slap on the dirty ground as he shakes there because this is fucking ridiculous--why are they talking like this? Did Shisui hit his head? He probably did--maybe he had brain trauma from the eye-gouging and maybe-suicide? Maybe that singular portion of oden he did manage to eat messed up something big time in his head?
(Shisui dies--or doesn't die at all because he is not in the Pure Lands and Senju Hashirama and Uchiha Madara are somehow alive and kicking. For some reason, his biggest concern is not his apparent time- and dimension-travel--it's not even Danzou, young and prissy and ever-so-fun to pick on.
If only everybody could just stop using the archaic version of their shared language around him, he'd be very fucking grateful.)
