Summary
When a life series ends, the winner gets to sleep eternally, resting with the blood of their friends on their hands. The game would be over, and they would be free, and everyone would finally remember who they really are— because they couldn’t be the monsters that they’ve turned into during the game, forced to kill and maim in the name of winning it all. Or at least, that’s what Scar thought as he approached the final button, the one that would let him end all his pain. He would press it, then something had to happen— like fireworks, or explosions, or even the faint whispering of the secret keeper. Only then, he’d finally put an end to the game.
When Scar pressed the button, nothing happened.

Summary
A rewrite of Miraculous Ladybug (specifically with the miraculouses lore) with endgame Adrino! It mostly builds off the beginning canon and loosely off the later seasons with a lot more consequences than what the show has for when a magical terrorist shows up out of the blue.
In that way, each book is considered like a season with the chapters being the episodes.

Summary
“Death.” The boy says and Death’s smiles, all sharp teeth and glowering eyes that instil fear in everything living. The humans who had summoned him before this child had all but cowered in his presence, words failing them as they trembled in fear before him. But, this child held no such regard. The boy’s green eyes gleamed with fascination.
“Yes, child. You have summoned me.” Death acknowledges, and the boy’s eyes widen at the confirmation. “What is it that you want from me?”
He can already make the assumptions. From all his years of existing, Death knows what mortals want from him. Vitality, longevity and power. He peers down at the small frame of the young boy, who seems to hesitate momentarily, before taking in a deep breath.
The boy looks up at him, his eyes determined and Death wonders what the boy plans on asking him. Would it be wealth, riches, fantasies? The boy opens his mouth and speaks,
“Will you be my friend?”
“…Huh?”
Or.
Adrien meets Plagg when he was a child. This changes everything and yet nothing at all.

"Daeyoung, I can't believe you did it!" Yushi storms in the room, ignoring the other students' stares.
It takes Daeyoung a second to understand what his friend's talking about, until he notices Yushi’s phone screen lit with “Hanyang Confession” written in big letters.
Daeyoung widens his eyes before jumping out of his seat and grabbing Yushi’s phone, too fast for Yushi to react in time. Yushi whines but he’s still laughing. He’s probably been laughing since the moment he saw the post.
Daeyoung takes advantage of Yushi’s inattention to pocket his phone and headlock him. "Can you be any louder?” He whispers into Yushi’s ear. “Riku doesn't know. No one knows, and I’d like to keep it that way."
