“You’re okay,” Welt soothes. He knows as well as anyone the torment one’s mind will put them through in their dreams, and immediately clocks the sound of a tired, frightened man about to be forced to wakefulness by such cruelty. He sweeps Sunday's hair behind his ear and tuts when he sees tears dripping down his face. Sunday’s distress rises, and when his wings fluff up defensively, Welt gives the one closest to him a gentle stroke. He repeats, softer, “You’re okay.”
It is instantly clear that having his wings caressed is a more effective way to comfort Sunday than doing the same to his hair. His breath catches, stopping a sob in his throat and letting Welt know that he’s done something right. Hoping to get Sunday back to restful sleep, Welt cradles it in his palm and uses his thumb to pet the soft feathers, each in their own turn.
While the tears subside, Sunday’s body is no less rigid. Determined to fully soothe him, Welt gently encircles the base of the wing in his hand and strokes it all the way to the tip. He repeats the motion three, four times, pleased that Sunday goes completely silent in response. He is startled by the sudden warble that emerges from Sunday’s mouth.

“Sung-ah,” Minho calls sweetly, and it gets Jisung to stop babbling like an idiot. “It’s okay. You’re allowed to . . . be careful and curious. But don’t worry. I don’t normally do stuff like that. Ever.”
Minho’s so hot and beautiful and everything in between. He’s the stars in the sky, the planets in the solar system, the sun rotating around the earth. He’s the milky ways and galaxies in the universe and the billions of other planets no one knows about.
