Summary
After Hugh dies the days drift by for Paul. Nothing seems to matter anymore and he seems so very distant.
Paul's seems to fall into a mindless schedule, distancing himself from others, not thinking about Hugh, drowning in his work to cope.
The grief is tearing him apart only he can't feel it, like it is all just a dream.
It still doesn't feel real. This reality is crushing.
Eventually Paul can't take it. He can't hide anymore. A wall breaks within him.

Summary
After Paul jumps to the mirror universe in season 1, he is left in a coma.
Hugh feels incredibly guilty and wishes he stopped him from making that last jump. To cope, he dives into the task of saving Paul.
The caring Cadet Tilly suggests a rest, but Hugh can't even walk into their quarters without being reminded of his husband. It hurts too much.
Hugh has a mental breakdown and misses Paul desperately.
He can't sleep. He has to find Paul. Hold him. At least just for the night.

It wasn't supposed to end like this. With Paul in his arms, oblivious to the world.
Paul promised it was the last one.
He shouldn't have let him take that last jump.
He shouldn't have watched as he was torn apart.Hugh relives the moments before and after that fated spore jump. He desperately wishes he stopped him from taking it. He misses Paul and feels a wee bit guilty :(

Summary
Sherlock is shot and dies. Mycroft wasn't there to save him like he should have. He feels horrible and guilty, and wishes things could have turned out differently.
Most importantly, Mycroft wishes that he could have saved him like an older brother should, instead of failing him.
Mycroft visits the hospital where his brother's body is, and says a heartbroken goodbye.
Angst and brotherly love ensues. :(

Summary
It's been three years since Mary died and John forgives Sherlock, but for some reason he can't bring himself to talk to him. John is confused, but he realizes why when he happens upon a photo of his and Sherlock's Happy days. The feelings of love he suppressed for fear of ruining their relationship came tumbling forward. He can't hide it anymore. He has to tell Sherlock how he feels.
Meanwhile, Sherlock enters his Mind Palace, searching for answers. He wants to understand why John has been pushing him away. Eventually he does find what he is looking for, and comes to the conclusion that John was in love with him. Although, he also discovers something about himself too. That the feelings of pain and loneliness in his heart are love.
Sherlock and John tell each other how they feel.
