He presses his first kiss to the insistent crease between Sapnap’s brows and dots a line down his nose. He exaggerates the final one, right on the reddish tip of his nose, and asks, “You still mad?”

“Hey, you,” Karl murmurs, hands pausing their languid runs through Sapnap’s hair to come rest hot on his face. Sapnap lifts his head up, looking at Karl with curious doe eyes. Already, he misses the warmth of Karl’s hands on him when they draw back silently, coming to rest in his lap. It’s nothing, though, because the weight of Karl’s gaze on him makes Sapnap feel like his heart is bursting to full.
“I love you,” Sapnap says in lieu of a proper answer just because he can. He’s allowed to. And oh, what a privilege, to be allowed to hold and kiss and touch and love as much as he wants to.
