Tanjirou blinks in confusion; he has heard a lot about the Uzui clan, and it doesn't make sense. But he can tell that the man is good or at least he tries to.

Uzui lights up as soon as he hears his voice and turns around like they're really good friends. The slayers know those two defeated an upper moon together, so it must be that sharing that kind of experience with someone brings you close to that person.
It makes sense and that's what they all think at first.
However, as the days pass, they start noticing that Tanjirou talks to Uzui's wives pretty often and they all seem very happy to have him around. One of the slayers, who's finally resting (well, she has collapsed on the ground actually) swears she watches as Makio, Suma and Hinatsuru flirt shamelessly with Tanjirou.
