Summary
Suguru isn’t sure how it happens but one moment everything is fine and the next it’s most decidedly not.
He’s out with Shoko and Satoru–the plan is to waste some time and get dinner–and he doesn’t remember where the guy came from, but while Shoko and he go to get some snacks for the three of them, someone approaches Satoru and starts talking to him.
Shoko brings him to Suguru’s attention, a knowing smirk on her face and Suguru has to admit that he hates random strangers talking to Satoru but at that point it’s still fine.
It’s all fine and fun right until Satoru smiles at the guy, and it’s not any smile. No, it’s the bright, happy one, the one Suguru loves the most and that random strangers don’t usually get.
And from that moment on things go a little bit hazy, because one second Suguru is standing in line with Shoko and Satoru is happily chatting away with the stranger and the next, Suguru is right next to Satoru and the stranger is on the ground.

“Too late for that,” Suguru mutters under his breath, because even with the blindfold Satoru is beautiful enough to take Suguru’s breath away.

But it’s not as if he can say that, not when he doesn’t know what it all means to Satoru, because it might end up being too much. Suguru takes a second curse as soon as he sat down next to the toilet and swallows that, too, a third following quickly.
Satoru watches him, completely enraptured by the sight and it’s only when Suguru glares at him that he realises that he’s staring.
“What are you looking at?” Suguru bites out and Satoru presses his lips together so the immediate answer of ‘You’ doesn’t slip out.
In all honesty, though, Satoru wouldn’t even know how to put it into words, what it is he’s looking at, what he wants. Because how do you explain to your best friend that you might be fantasising about turning into a curse yourself just so that he can swallow you whole, so that you can live inside of him, safely nestled in his cursed energy.
The thought alone makes Satoru blush; there’s no way he could ever say those words to Suguru.

Suguru is having a bad day. In all honesty, he’s having a bad week, but he tries not to think too much about why that is. Today though, today has been very bad and it’s all he can think about when he comes home.
The fact that Satoru doesn’t bound up to him to greet him only serves to sour his mood more, but it’s the reality Suguru has been living with for the last two weeks at least.
And that’s the problem.
