Summary
Lance McClain is dying. That is the only way to explain whatever the hell is happening to him right now. He is dying of a mysterious, never-before-heard-of illness that causes him to stick to walls and rip handles off bedroom doors.
He stares at himself in the bathroom mirror, stock-still and way too careful about which parts of the room his body touches. He’s shirtless, the top he was trying to put on hanging limply from his fingertips like it’s been glued onto them, and his hair is frazzled from his anxious tugging on it. It started yesterday, this stickiness, and he is barely managing.

Or: Lance is Spider-Man, and he's being totally, 100% normal about it. He's doing great, honestly.

Summary
“Jesus Christ.” Keith shakes his head. “You are unbelievable.”
Lance slumps back in his chair, fighting the urge to roll his eyes. “Yeah, well, you’re not all that great either.”
“I should kick you out.”
Lance tenses a bit at that, eyes narrowing. “You wouldn’t.” A gamble. Keith probably, actually would.
Keith doesn’t dignify him with a response, instead turning back to his stupid book. After waiting a few moments for something else to happen—namely, getting kicked out—Lance lets himself relax. Nothing happens, and he knows he’s won their little spat, even if Keith won’t ever admit it. He bites back a self-satisfied smirk and redirects the conversation to something more civil.
“What’re you reading?”
____Or: The world has ended; Keith and Lance manage. Sort of.

Summary
“Coran, what’s happening?” Lance didn’t like how Shiro's voice shook. Was something wrong with the wormhole?
“The integrity of the wormhole has been compromised,” Coran yelled. “We’re breaking down!”
Lance sucked in a breath, eyes wide. Compromised? Breaking down? “What does that mean?!” He asked into the comms.
“It means we have no control where we’re headed!”
Oh no. Oh no no no no no no no.
After narrowly escaping the Galra, a corrupted wormhole leaves Lance stranded on the other side of the galaxy. With no team, no lion, and no idea what to do, Lance must fight for survival and show the universe just who Lance McClain really is.Asterism (noun): a prominent pattern or group of stars, typically having a popular name but smaller than a constellation.

Summary
He lets them take out the frustrations on him. Encourages it really, because people need an outlet for their anger, and Lance has always been the best at making people angry at him.
(And if his heart twinges a little every time he has to let someone be particularly mean to him, then he just has to remember that this is what he's good at. What he's good for.)
But Lance is an older brother, and an uncle, and a younger brother. He learned sometimes keeping people means sacrificing his own feelings for a bit. He's been taught that he can't always let his feelings take a back seat though. After all, what happens if the rock falls apart?
So, while Lance is always prepared to be the enemy on any given day, there are certain days and certain things that he will not let fly.
Or,
What happens when Lance is sick of his teammate's shit.

Summary
He winces. This one is…bad. He’s reminded, painfully, of the first time he ever witnessed Lance have an episode, hunched over a toilet bowl and shaking so bad Keith had been convinced he was seizing. The then-Blue Paladin had begged him, in between gags and heaves, not to tell anyone. Keith, who had only really known him for six months, six months of near-constant arguing broken up only by rare moments of true teamwork, who had barely considered them friends, had already been halfway out the door, Coran’s name on his tongue.
Keith had been scared shitless. He didn’t know what was wrong, but he knew enough to know that it was serious, that Lance was in real danger. His mind flashed to poisoning from a backstabbing ally, alien sickness a human immune system couldn’t fight off. A million different worst-case scenarios had rushed through his head, making Keith want to throw up himself.
But the terror in Lance’s eyes had scared him a thousand times more than whatever was wrong with him. So he had swallowed his fear, then, and kept his mouth shut, placing a tentative hand on Lance’s back as he vomited and carefully watched the door.

Summary
“I am tired of watching you struggle, Leandro! Heaven forbid you ask for help!”
Shiro frowns. That’s not good. That sounds serious.
“I asked for help,” Lance huffs, arms crossed over his chest. “I asked you, didn’t I?”
“I don’t count and you know it,” Hunk says sharply, mirroring him. “I already knew.”
Lance looks away, clenching his jaw. His fingers are tangled in his jacket’s sleeve, tense.
“You don’t have to help anymore if it’s too hard,” he mumbles. “I can handle it myself.”
Hunk softens. “It’s not that, Lance.” He wipes his hands in his apron and pulls Lance to his chest. Lance goes, although he doesn’t move his arms, burying his face in Hunk’s shoulder. “You know it’s not that. If that’s all we have then I’ll keep doing it, damn the consequences.” He pulls back slightly, nudging Lance back so he can look him in the face. “You can just do better, dude. All you gotta do is tell Shiro about your —”
