    Summary

    Leo didn't like this boy. In fact, he hated him with his entire soul, and he has spent weeks nursing a sense of injustice and plain jealousy. But now, looking him in the eye, he couldn't remember any of it.

    Maybe it was because Usagi seemed so genuinely excited to see him, or because he had that enthusiasm and hunger that Leo still vaguely remembered from his first roles. Maybe it was because he was so awkward, talked far more than he should, and seemed nothing like the person Leo had already created in his head.

    Or, what made the most sense and was much more embarrassing: he was really pretty. Without that serious, almost pouty expression he wore in the movie, he almost charming.

    Or;
    Leo meets the boy who "stole his role." Things escalate quickly.

    Summary

    The notepad feels old. The pages slightly yellowed, the cover a little frayed. This isn’t a new notebook.

    Press Conference - new coach

    • Arrived early. Half the room is already waiting. Anticipation thick, but not in a good way. People are ready to mock, not listen.
    • This is going to be a disaster.

    First sighting of Ted Lasso:

    • Walks in smiling. Far too relaxed for a man about to be eaten alive. Looks surprised, doesn’t look that nervous. Should be.
    • What is that mustache? (Note: Find out if it’s intentional or just unfortunate.)
