“I’m wondering,” I say instead. “What it’s like to fly. What is it like, Lloyd?”
“Constant movement," he answers immediately. "Like your heart and body are on the edge of an abyss. Or running on a tightrope. You can’t slow down or you’ll fall.” He mimics the movement with his hands. He loves doing that. Flitting gestures with his hands. I like it, too – it makes his stories more mesmerising. I close my eyes, try to imagine what he was describing. Comparing it against my own imagination. “Or drift, I suppose. But that’s letting gravity control you. And in the sky, you must seize control. That’s how we fought the dragons. We stole their domain right out of the sky.”

Summary
Zephyr, taking advantage of a brief lapse in his father's volatile behaviour, finds a strange boy - too eloquently dressed to be a crow - about to be robbed by other fledglings from the slums. He helps fend them off with the intention of robbing him and taking all the spoils himself; only to be made an offer he can't refuse.
Lloyd, a highborn angel from the Temple, is on one of his frequent escapades when he becomes fascinated by a charmless crow who has a smile that makes the recipient want to jump into a river. Well, not that he'd ever seen him smile. But Lloyd has a certain... knack for people that gets them smiling soon enough.
And so a twisted friendship is born.

When Genos had woken up, he’d seemed unusually distant and confused about his bearings. It had immediately set off every alarm in his head and it had been with increasingly grim realization that he’d uncovered the full scope of the damage.
Still, that had been nothing compared to preparing Saitama-kun for what had happened.
”Nonsense” Saitama had said at first. ”Just let me talk to him.”

“What—sensei, are you all right?!” Genos was staring at him incredulously, his mouth agape.
“It’s like I said,” Saitama said, rubbing his wrist lightly. “Something’s happening to me."
