Marinette transitions into an Alpha with all the grace that she does everything else. Then she accidentally mate-bites Adrien, which would be bad enough if it was only humiliating. But mate-biting someone without their consent in this world means serious punishment--up to and including a death sentence. Adrien should be angry at having binding mate magic forced on him, but his only concern is what he can do to save his very good friend from ruination or death.
An Omegaverse-inspired werewolf AU fic that focuses more on the interpersonal and societal dynamics of Alphas, Betas, and Omegas and little to nothing to do with the sort of steamy content you might be used to seeing from A/B/O fics.
