The boy peeked out of the room, uncomfortable on his feet due to the cold ground. “Yes?”
“You’re having one more today. Just, uh, be nice. And don't stare.”
“…Alright.” That was an odd set of instructions. The customer must’ve had body modifications that were not the usual ones or had a nasty scar somewhere. Truth be told, Sinclair hasn’t had someone like that yet come, but there was a first for everything.

Summary
After the events that shook Calw and ruined it for good, Sinclair, with the help of an acquaintance, managed to leave to a different district. To his misfortune, the only place Don could take him was the shady and harsh Backstreets of WARP Corp., infamous for their food culture, revolving around human flesh. He was warned about it, having to carefully choose where he would eat if he decided that making food at home was too much of a hassle.
Unfortunately for him, he failed to do that the first week of his stay there, not even realising it until months later.
He also didn't realise that he managed to get the attention of a certain sous-chef, who seemed to enjoy him a little too much, until it was too late for him to escape.
As things get worse in every aspect of his life, he wonders - would it be worth to accept this madness as a part of his life, even if it might lead to him bleeding out for the sake of someone who wants to eat him out of sheer obsession?

Summary
On a library book sale, there was a pile of books that sold for quite cheap — they didn’t even check what book a person took, just how many so that they could charge the right amount of money. Sinclair came on his own, mostly hoping to get some books for school he’d need later, but after finding everything, he decided to check out the pile out of curiosity, All the books were arranged randomly, and with no order, he could not know what exactly he was going to find there.
He picked up a book at random, wanting to look at the back of it, but was surprised by the minimal design — books were usually nicely decorated, with beautiful covers and nice spines, while this one was rather plain. As if it was done on purpose. There also wasn’t anything on the back of it. On instinct, he wanted to put the book down, but remembered that maybe it was inside the book. Sometimes books were like that, but only ones who had pretty covers that covered both the front and the back. In reality, there was no reason for anything to be on the inside, but Sinclair looked there anyway.
