There's a look that passes between the boys while Max, dangling upside down over the edge of the couch, rolls her eyes at the pages of Wonder Woman — all of which confirms that it was, in fact, not good. Steve's not glad, exactly, although with all the effort he's put into learning this stuff over the summer it's nice to know that he's not going to get thrown over for another DM after one session.
Robin pulls their binder out of Steve's bag so they can start setting up and asks, "What was so bad? You said Eddie sounded like he knew what he was talking about?"
"He does!" Dustin protests. "Really, he knows so much it's unreal, he's like a D&D encyclopaedia."
"But…?" Steve prompts.
"He's a dick about it."

Maybe two weeks of abstinence is the perfect opportunity Steve and Eddie need to actually talk about whatever is going on between them.
Maybe having to share a confined space with 6 teenagers and Eddie for two weeks will give Steve enough time to sort out his frazzled brain and ask Eddie out on a date or something...
