Summary
Roy was told once that he loved too much. In NA, it's a character flaw. He didn't stay sober that time, but he keeps the idea with him.
Two stints at rehab later, and he's understanding it better. He's been clean for a year (or thirteen months) and he's counting the days of a different problem. The problem isn't drugs, he's learned during this most recent sobriety. It's habits. Patterns.
Jason is the worst of those.

Summary
One night, six months after he died, Jason Todd climbed out of his coffin and stumbled twelve miles through icy November rain. He ended up in a Gotham hospital, surrounded by people who most certainly knew Bruce Wayne from pictures, and possibly-- possibly-- his adopted son. Somebody was bound to recognize him, as crazy as it was.
Six months after Jason Todd died, Bruce Wayne is barely functioning.
