Summary
A routine inventory of the Shinsengumi's confiscated goods takes an unexpected turn when Sougo activates a strange device, leaving Hijikata looking like a six-year-old boy.
Unfortunately for everyone, he is still very much Hijikata and he has every intention of carrying on with his duties as usual, except that Kondo has apparently decided that being Vice-Chief now comes with mandatory parental supervision.
Unfortunately, Hijikata's new appearance doesn't stay a secret for long. When a group of extremist Joui rebels learns that the Shinsengumi's Demon Vice-Chief has been reduced to a child, they see an opportunity they can't afford to miss.

Summary
The Shinsengumi are invited to a formal banquet celebrating a new agreement between the Shogunate and the Amanto.
The Amanto delicacy served at the banquet looks questionable at best, but refusing to eat it would be an insult to their hosts. So, naturally, there's no way for Hijikata to avoid eating it.
A few hours later, his stomach begins to make its objections known.

Summary
Today's newspaper's headline reads 'Head Hormone Honcho Happrehended!'.
The picture on the front is in black and white, but clearly shows a lineup of miserable, handcuffed Amanto drug dealers, all being led into the back of a police van. In the foreground, the apparent 'head honcho' of the group is cuffed. He looks like a dog wearing a hawaiian shirt and sunglasses. The cuffs are too large for his tiny dog legs, and they sit loosely on the ground around his paws. He's been otherwise leashed appropriately. Beside him stands an ecstatic-looking Okita Sogo, giving a peace-sign to the camera.
"Okita-kun." Hijikata's grip is white-knuckled on the newspaper. It's seconds away from tearing. "Why are you showing me this?"
Sogo gives him a cheerful smile. "Thought you'd want to know, is all."

The night after making a drunken mistake with that dead-eyed, curly-haired bastard, Hijikata runs out of hormone suppressants. But never fear, the Yorozuya is here to help.
