It’s not strange in and of itself; it’s just clothes, and Rean’s always been good with his hands. But there’s a familiar sort of confidence to his movements, a suspiciously practiced ease with which he pulls the fabric away and reaches for the next layer.
A thought niggles at Crow’s mind. Before his brain can filter it out, he opens his mouth and asks, a little tactlessly, “Have you done this before?”
Rean freezes. “Um,” he says.
