Summary
The Thirteenth Brother is an animal made of hate. He is the perfect hound, a ruthlessly efficient Inquisitor who hunts without a shred of remorse or doubt, his conviction unshakeable, his record flawless; Not a single Force sensitive has ever escaped his clutches.
When intel brings word of a Force sensitive girl cowering in a tiny logging camp on Hades VI, it's a job like any other: Find the target, and put it down. It's what he's made for, and all that he knows. What he doesn't know is that the girl on on Hades VI isn't just any Force sensitive: She's a ghost from his past, a time before the darkness remade him.
A single moment of hesitation is all it takes for the girl to lash out blindly, desperately, with power she can't control. His mind rends, everything hateful within it snatched up and torn free by a desperate creature, thrashing in the clutches of the monster that has her by the throat.
The Thirteenth Brother is gone, and Link is the husk that's left in the absence of hate.

For almost as long as Zelda could remember, her uncle had imposed an unwavering rule: She could never, under any circumstances, remove the rose stud she wore in her left ear.
By the time she left high school, the earring had been with her so long that she barely ever noticed it was there. Until one day, it wasn't.
One accidental hit in a charity baseball game, and the irremovable earring was suddenly nowhere to be found. As Zelda began a desperate search to either find the earring or replace it, strange things began to happen. Mysterious rose cards started appearing on her person. When she threw them away, they re-appeared, as if by magic. And when the cards touched her lips, four people suddenly materialised inside her car.
The Red Rose. The Black Rose. White Rose. The Purple Rose. They are her Rose Knights, and they have been waiting for her call.
