Summary
A moment passes. Gallagher stops heaving and slumps back against the rock, his god-graced body already knitting broken skin back together. His stomach churns and swirls, fighting itself. Acidic bile gathers at the back of his throat.
Dizzy from the pain, Gallagher entertains the notion of pressing deeper and deeper into the stone wall until he has become one with it. He would be trapped still, but at least within its jagged confines, he would find peace.
A glimpse into the life of a god clamped to a stone prison, and the harpy sent out to punish him.

Kaveh leaned back in his chair, his anger fading some from such a simple question. “Of course I do. He’s here working his shift somewhere.”
Cyno only stared.
“What?” Kaveh pressed, his red-hot temper flaring up again. He hated when people would beat around the bush, especially when the situation seemed dire. But this wasn’t a dire situation, was it?
It couldn’t be.
Or, in which Al-Haitham finds himself trapped in a strange mechanism, and Kaveh's world gets turned upside down. They face the realities of their relationship, of themselves and each other, and find their way back home.

Xingqiu can almost imagine it: him and Chongyun, gazing before a colossal fish tank in a dimly lit room. Their faces will be illuminated only by the light from the tank.
The other boy will shuffle close enough that their hands brush together. He will shyly inch his hand toward Xingqiu’s, a terrible blush on his face.
And Xingqiu will merely smile as he holds Chongyun’s cold, clammy hand. They’ll stare at the fish and coral until their feet start to ache. Xingqiu’s stomach will be doing those strange somersaults that only happen to the main lead in romance novels.
Then Chongyun will bite his tongue twice before stammering out his confession, and Xingqiu will accept it and proudly admit his own mutual feelings, and they’ll share one good movie kiss. And afterwards he’ll text Hu Tao that she lost the bet and that she owes Xingqiu so much money.
Or, Xingqiu and Chongyun go on an aquarium date. Their friends are very tired of them.
