This isn't some over-romanticized thing. The love interest is obsessive but messy, the drama is very church centric, the politics of it are stressful, and his head is a constantly skipping vinyl. The goal: make everything feel real. No, it's not a romance novel style put him on a pedestal type thing. He's just a guy that's thrown into this life. He does not win everything. Neither does she. But! Two stubborn people usually do conquer a hell of a lot of hurdles.
Crap at summaries. Read the dang notes. Most chapters have them.

Summary

Summary
Papa V and my female OC who is just as sassy and blunt because I feel he needs a woman that matches his wit. And who doesn't love a slow burn? Perpetua is smart mouthed, and a little bit bad at feelings (all of them), but great at work!
Heavy focus on world building, making the Ministry feel alive and breathing, and religious aspects. Little bit of religious trauma sprinkled in there. Deviates from typical Satanism in the bringing of Pagan aspects for *flavor*.
(Temporary Hiatus - will be picked back up and completely redone. Story line will remain the same. Significantly more will be added and altered. The main story is basically done- just have a lot of 'epilogue' stuff outlined. Perpetua's view will probably be finished first. Ave Satanas.)
