ZAP
Will was back. Choking on his own breath, heaving breaths he couldn’t seem to find. His lung burnt. His muscles tensed. There was a presence beside him, their knee pressing into the soft flesh of his torso, but he could barely feel it. They were calling his name over and over but he couldn’t pay attention.
“Mike?”
The word comes out wrong. Desperate.
A strangled sob was returned. Someone was crying. Why were they crying?
Suddenly he felt it. A prickling in his head, not painful, no something else. Something was wrong.
He tried to blink, tried to find something to grasp on. The world was spinning and he didn’t know how to stop it.
He blinked—darkness.
He lifted his hand. Pools of something thick. He gagged.
“Mike, why can’t I see?”
The pain hasn’t caught up to him yet — only the terror, the sudden, crushing absence where something has always been.
“Mike why can't I fucking see?"

Summary
In the months following the gates' opening in Hawkins, the Party and its coconspirators are left to deal with the aftermath. An eerie fog surrounds the town as the days grow colder, people are going missing in droves, and the military won't let anyone leave. As the end creeps nearer, Will is forced to face the truths about himself and the horrors that plague him. His sister, El, will have to confront her own guilt to stand beside him in the end. Mike will have to choose bravery to follow through on his oath that may change the course of their future.

Summary
Finally, Nancy steps out into the hall. “Mike what do you—” Her expression shifted from annoyed to worried at the sight of blood painting the floor. Her eyes dart over to Will who pushes himself up to look up at them.
Will smiles widely with Mike's blood between his teeth.
Mike grabs Nancy and drags her back into her room, locking it behind him. “Something is wrong with Will.”
Or Will gets possessed again after returning to a Hawkins that's split in four.

Summary
Mike went to grab a cup from the cabinet, brushing arms with Will. “Maybe we can set up the camera! It can pick up anything that we hear.”
“Hell yeah! We’ll be like paranormal investigators,” Lucas chimed in and reached forward to fist bump Mike.
Max rolled her eyes. “There’s no paranormal shit to investigate, idiots. If you want to waste battery life on filming us sleeping, be my guest. It’s probably one of you dipshits sleepwalking without knowing it.”
“You’re just mad that we came up with the idea,” Mike raised an eyebrow. “We’ll get famous if the door moves without anyone pushing it and you’ll be wishing you took credit.”
