But on this magical Halloween night, more is awaiting him than he could ever have imagined: a place that promises refuge, and a person he had long thought lost.

Summary
Mesmerised, Severus stepped closer, stopping in the shelter of a pagoda tree. His heart ached with longing upon the sight that met his eyes: A spacious, softly lit interior with sumptuous carpets on the polished floorboards, the walls bordered by carved shelves full of books. Two comfortable armchairs stood in front of the warming fire, flickering in a chimney of fair stone.
As a young woman stepped into the room with fluid movements Severus' breath caught. The modern interpretation of a Kimono flowed around the feminine figure, her upswept amber curls and lovely profile shimmering in the light of the glow. Never in his life had he seen anything so entrancing.
But when she lifted her face, realisation flashed through him like a lightning bolt. The luminous lady who had testified so emphatically on his behalf before the Wizengamot, who had visited him during his dream in the sinister hideout to bring a glimmer of hope, and who had finally laid the decisive trail with her exquisite card, was none other than Hermione Granger!
This is a story about recovery and healing, about coming to peace with the past, discovering one's true abilities, strengths and powers – and maybe even something completely unexpected.

Summary
Severus stared at her, stunned into silence. Of all the scenarios he had imagined for this morning, being blackmailed by Hermione Granger into spending Christmas with her, was not one of them.

This is a story about healing, about finding solace and peace – and maybe something long thought lost.

Summary
She spotted him as the bright stage lights went out.
Sitting alone in the dim auditorial space, the square silhouette of his body emerged from the shadows, the face still concealed in darkness. His appearance looked as correct and flawless as ever, but this night the tremendously confident man appeared to her so vulnerable, almost fragile – though entrancingly courageous.
This is a sequel to the magnificent closing scene of Death on the Nile, in which Poirot will have to face his deepest fears — and perhaps also something rather unexpected.

Summary
In front of her, a shadowlike figure leaned in the doorframe, vaguely reminiscent of the always accurate and fastidiously dressed appearance of the Potions Master of Hogwarts.
"Leave now," he muttered with a threatening undertone. "And don't come back."

Summary
He could not remember how long he had been kneeling on that dirty stone floor, his eyes blindfolded, the arms tied behind his back. Any moment they would come for him and drag him into the glaring light of the courtroom, where the Dementors waited to finally suck his soul from that badly battered body.
Harry Potter would certainly not miss the opportunity to see this spectacle. Also his former colleagues from Hogwarts would most likely make the long journey to London to watch his execution with the utmost satisfaction.
And maybe she would be there, too. She who had been the only one to believe him. But that was the thought he had to chase out of his numbed brain instantly, in order not to collapse on these cold slabs shivering and sobbing.
This is a story about recovery and healing, about finding solace and peace - and maybe even something completely unexpected ...

Summary
Severus tried to think back to the last time a woman's hand had touched him. It must have been Lily, if certainly not caring or affectionate. Since that disturbing and humiliating experience, he had deliberately avoided all encounters that could have led to a feeling of intimacy.
And now this gentle beauty had crashed into his life like a flaming comet.

Summary
“In the end sex is just the chemically induced release of hormones – nothing more," Severus growled.
"You think it's nothing special?" Hermione asked shyly.
"No. You should listen to me and not consider it too important. "
"Why? How do you come to this point of view?"
"I have already experienced sexual congress, Miss Granger," he said dryly. "And I can assure you, it's not worth it."
"That sounds bitter, Sir."
"It is."
When Hermione turned her gaze to the older wizard, he was staring out the window absentmindedly and she could see pain in his eyes. Pain? Was there a way to prove him wrong ...?

Summary
A cruel battle raged inside of Severus. He went almost insane with passionate desire for this man – but a voice in his head rebuked him that a natural winner like Achilles Scamander would never take a second look at a pathetic fagot like him. That he was just playing some perfidious game to demean and expose him, like James Potter had done years ago. And that he himself was about to run into a trap that would rob him of the last remnant of dignity until his heart finally shattered beyond repair.
But could it be that he was completely mistaken?
