Summary
Pansy Parkinson is, by pureblood standards, a tragedy. She moved in with a boy way too soon and had a thoroughly public breakup. She drinks way too much at unladylike hours. And most importantly, she’s twenty-five and unmarried.
Sirius Black is, by wizarding standards, a scandal. He escaped Azkaban and still got acquitted. He spends his afternoons in muggle markets and vintage shops, voluntarily. He has been a free man for five years and has never once told his side of the story.
They met on the worst night of her year. She was in a nasty mood, and he was always attracted to trouble.

"I- I- Lily, listen to me. Listen to me, please-"
"There's nothing more we can do."
"He will kill you!"
"Then he'll kill me, Severus!"
"Please. Please, convince James to break the oath. If he knows- if he knows, maybe he'll change his mind."
"Break the oath? Break the oath? You're smart enough to know, Sevie-"
"I don't want you to die!"
- The Pensieve memory of Lily Evans and Severus Snape, September 29th, 1981.Harry Potter was born a freak. He always knew that. The addled orphan of drug addicted parents, dropped off at his respectable relatives’ house, only for them to go on and die in a car crash. It was alright. One day he was going to be a zookeeper, probably. Or just something that worked with snakes.

Summary
Ivy (noun): a climbing plant that attaches itself to stone surfaces and is remarkably difficult to remove once established. See also: Skyes, Ivy. sixth year. Gryffindor. An infestation.
Severus Snape did not ask for a stray. He did not ask for a sixth-year Gryffindor who brewed perfect potions and never raised her hand and sat on dungeon floors beside people who had not invited her there. He certainly did not ask for the quiet, stubborn, inconvenient process by which she took root in every crack he thought he'd sealed.

Summary
When Petunia Evans was kidnapped and branded by a group of young wizards, she swore she would never give her sister’s world any attention again. Estranged from Lily, and firmly in the muggle world she learns the startling truth: the brand has bound her to Regulus Black, and he is dying, somewhere in a cave she doesn’t have the power to access.
The choice is not really a choice at all- she can die with him, or she can figure out a way to save him. With strange new powers emerging from both of them, he kidnaps her again- this time to try and take down the very power that he once served.
But there is more danger in the world than bits of souls trapped in inanimate objects stashed around Europe. Trapped between the muggle world and the magical world- and quite terrifyingly belonging to neither- perhaps Petunia is the biggest threat of all.
