Summary
And suddenly, filling his entire screen, Rozanov was grinning into the camera with a row of bloody teeth. His lip was split. When he wiped his mouth with the back of his bare hand, it came away streaked with red. He spat the rest onto the ice with an awful smile and a wink before getting to his feet.
Jane: Can you stay in the dressing room?
Lily: Are you asking or telling?
Jane: You hate being told what to do.
Lily: Not when it's you
Jane: Stay.
Jane: You looked really fucking good taking that hit.

Summary
"Carlton," Mike repeated, the word feeling like ash in his mouth.
"Yeah, Carlton," Dustin said, sounding genuinely surprised by Mike's tone. "I figured you’d be the first to know. I mean, you guys talk every night. I only heard it through the grapevine—Max told Lucas, Lucas told me. Even El seemed to know when I called her last. I thought you were probably the one who gave him the pep talk to actually go through with it."
Mike didn’t know. He didn't know anything. He’d talked to Will on Friday. He’d talked to Will today, just before calling Dustin. Will had mentioned the weather, his latest charcoal sketch, and the fact that Max had accidentally bleached one of his favorite sweaters. He had not mentioned a business major named Carlton.
The betrayal tasted like copper. He was the person Will usually told everything to first.
OR Mike Wheeler realizes that playing the "Good Best Friend" is a losing game, Will is tired of waiting for a sign, and the Party proves that they are world-class at covering up a tactical romantic explosion.
Basically: cheating Byler burger with a side of mutual pining fries and enabler friends soda.

Summary
"I miss you, Will," Mike said. He said it every day, and every day it felt like the only true thing he ever spoke. It wasn't a confession of a crime; it was a statement of fact, as immutable as gravity.
1999 is a year of beige computers, dial-up static, and the looming fear of Y2K. For Mike Wheeler, it’s a year of practiced smiles and a house on Sycamore Lane that feels more like a museum than a home. He has the perfect wife, the perfect job, and a perfectly hollow heart.
But every morning at 7 AM, he snaps open his Motorola StarTAC and calls Portland. Two thousand miles away, Will Byers is the only person who knows how to make Mike breathe.

Bookmarker's Notes
"The problem was that Mike didn't want a place. He wanted a storm. He wanted the kind of love that made you feel like you were drowning and being saved all at once. He wanted the kind of love that left you bruised and gasping. He wanted Will."

Summary
“Since we're all complete— how about you both start telling us how you two met? Will never gave us details. He just said you met in Lenora and everything changed.”
Richie snapped his fingers. “Ah, the classic ‘How Did The Bard Snag The Cleric’ tale! A masterpiece of modern romance, I assure you. It involves existential dread, very aggressive pining, a high school cafeteria, and my ability to tell which nerds are actually hiding a magnificent freak show beneath the surface.”
Richie threw an arm over Will’s shoulder, pulling him close for a quick, searing kiss.
“Oh, I’ll give you details, Henderson,” Richie promised, “I’m not holding back. I’m not softening the edges. I’m going to tell you the unvarnished, uncensored, utterly depraved, and ridiculously romantic truth of how Will Byers and I became the superior pairing. You all better ready your ears, because I won’t be censoring the filthy bits, the angst, or the fact that Will has a lot of hidden stamina.”
OR They finally tell the tale of how their relationship started.
