Easter break had found an appropriate set of circumstances to set the party up. Anthony Bridgerton was on his extra-long honeymoon, while Violet had taken the two youngest Bridgertons to visit Fran in Scotland, leaving an actual living, breathing mansion in the middle of London damn near empty to throw the biggest party Mayfair had ever seen. Really, when the most responsible adult in residence was Benedict Bridgerton, it was a bit of a no-brainer to throw a giant rager.
Still, though, she thought playing Spin the Bottle was a bit much.

Penelope loved weddings to a fault.
She loved the drama and the mess of them all, the stolen moments between the happy couple nobody normally got to see. She'd simply been happy to be asked to be a bridesmaid, to take a place next to Daphne’s own three sisters as if she was family in all but name, watching Colin beam across the chapel at her with promise in his eyes.
Thank God Daph hadn’t chosen yellow for the dresses.
