Summary
Despite never meeting, a year ago on the same day, both Steve's and Eddie's lives completely changed for the worse.
Eddie lost his sister, Vickie, on the same day that he was arrested after a huge fight and sent to jail for six months and is now struggling to find a job.
Steve, once a brilliant badminton player and close to finishing studies to become a teacher, is now completely shut off from the world after an accident left him mostly blind. His main company are his mom, Catherine, who is busy working as a famous chef most of the time, and his cousin, Jonathan, and their relationship only sours over the years, especially after the accident.
After a series of chance encounters, Eddie ends up becoming Steve's new caretaker, and they are forced to begin to navigate their situations together and slowly learn how to start to live again after so long just surviving (as well as fall deeply in love with each other)
Heavily Inspired by one of my favorite thai shows, Last Twilight (the title comes from the ost for the show called Better Days)

This is just me being petty and giving KimChay a happier ending because I'm way too anxious to wait for a second season
Kim was not prepared to for what the mere sight of Chay would make him feel, his heart stopped and then started beating at alarming beating really fast, he wanted nothing more to walk up to that couch, sit beside him and distracted him with cheek kiss until all his attention was on him and Chay would give him the smile that would light up his life before looking at him like he was actually a good person, not the son of the mafia who part him enjoying being. Alas, Kim has a mission and was to make sure that anyone who walked to that the door would regret to even thinking about hurting Chay

Summary
Steve Harrington grew up different than other children. He was raised separate from other kids, and rather than go to school each day he went to a lab where he was taught to use his gifts. He got to know other children in the lab, including a little girl in another wing. However, Steve's wing shuts down flipping his world upside down as his once normal life changes, but his Papa promises that he will be seeing him again.
This part of the series follows Season 1, plus extra bits, and changes for this AU of ABO, experiment Steve, Hopper adopting Steve, mpreg, and all of my favorite Stranger Thing fanfic cliches.
Any errors are my own as I have no beta, and am trying to take advantage of my current hyper fixation as possible.
