“Reo,” he quickly introduces himself. When Nagi continues staring at him, he realizes Nagi’s expecting a full name from him in return. His eyes catch on the name emblazoned on Nagi’s computer. “...Mikage,” he decides impulsively. “Reo Mikage.”
Nagi’s eyebrows raise before his gaze dips to his computer, then back to Reo. “Like… Mikage corporation, Mikage?”
“...yes?”
“Cool,” Nagi hums after a pause. “Can you give me money?”
“Ah… no.” Reo was at least pretty sure humans weren’t in the habit of exchanging money at their first interaction. Nagi turns back to his computer, obviously disinterested, so Reo hurries to continue. “But I can give you something better.”
“Better than money?” Nagi asks skeptically, before he tilts his head to the side. “Video games?”
Reo… might have his work cut out for him.
“No,” he says again firmly before puffing out his chest and flashing Nagi a confident grin. “I, Reo Mikage, am going to make you, Seishiro Nagi, fall in love!”
Nagi blinks at him slowly before turning back to his computer.
“No thanks.”

“The decision to team up effectively killed Nagi’s talent.” Ego turned his attention back to Reo. “By then it had already withered… You were hoping that this talent that can never bloom again would flourish and kept watering it, Mikage Reo.” Ba-ya’s foreboding parting words on the morning they left for Blue Lock, where she had asked if Nagi was similar to Choki who’ll slowly die when overindulged with affection, frantically ran through Reo’s mind. “This naive dream of yours of winning the World Cup together has no place in Blue Lock. Believe it or not, you have some blood on your hands, Mikage.”
The despair in his chest was far too much to handle. Reo had never anticipated Nagi, his beloved treasure ever getting locked off. He had only realized that he was now crying upon the sensation of hot tears uncontrollably streaming down his face. Was he really to blame for all this? Did he curse himself and Nagi into a life of failure and despair, due to his selfishness?

His voice is like the hook at the end of a fishing line, sunken deep into his heart, forgotten. But now it pulls, and a sharp pain rears within him.
Warmth still lingers where the ghost's finger has traced his philtrum and Sieun trembles. He feels so real. This cannot be.
Sieun lunges at this ghost, circling his hands around his neck, and they both crash onto the floor with Sieun on top. The nearest metal stools in the cafe scatter in all directions. Before Sieun is able to tighten his hold, the ghost yanks him by his waist and flips them around. A crack sounds as Sieun’s back lands on the cold tiled floor. The ghost plants his knees on either side of Sieun’s waist and swiftly pins his hands to the ground. He bends forward. Their faces are close.
The creases around Ahn Suho’s eyes deepen.
“Sieun. Fucking breathe.”
