Summary
You smile because he remembered. It is a small thing, a normal thing. I remember too. I remember you hate lids with raised drinking tabs because they touch your upper lip. I remember you switch to decaf when your hands begin trembling, though you lie and blame the trauma bay temperature. I remember the first time I ran into you at the CCME conference in Vegas 6 years ago when I was on leave. I remember you had an intern's badge on, and you were so earnest as you tried to get the attention of the editor of the Harvard Medical Journal to discuss a piece about racial inequality. I remember going to the front desk and telling them that I needed to change the billing address on your hotel room, and could they be so kind as to remind me what address was on file? I remember going to bed that night and looking you up. I remember everything, Mira. The difference is he wants credit for it.

Summary
The roads are eerily empty and packed down with a thick layer of snow. The crash patients that had come in had been much earlier into the evening when the storm was just a notch above flurries.
Now, nobody seemed to be brave enough to venture out. Something in her chest tightens at the fact that Abbot, for some reason, is willing to brave these roads for her.

Summary
"...so… yeah. Pigtail catheter inside his right ventricle.”
“That’s… risky.” Jack is a little in awe.
“I know.”
“And kind of insane.”
Dr. Mohan lets out a single disbelieving laugh, shaking her head. “I know.”
“Even I can’t believe I had the balls to do it.”
She stops short and turns to look at him, one eyebrow raised in what he thinks is amusement written across her face. A playfulness he was not privy to until this moment. “You didn’t do anything. I did. You had me do it.”

Summary
She sees a flicker of fire settle into his eyes, and then the lights flash, washing the dancefloor in a strange violet-blue hue that catches against the silver threaded through his hair. It makes every grey curl momentarily shine, and Samira's chest aches with the sudden, awful realisation that she wishes so desperately it were his curls tangled beneath her fingers, that it were his hair she was clawing at, his mouth she was kissing, his body she was pressed against instead of Arun's. And she hopes that somewhere beneath the anger and the sadness and all those months of pretending, Jack is wanting the same thing.
samira and jack are dating other people. but when they meet at a bar after months, they rekindle their relationship. in more ways than one.

Summary
Trinity stares into Samira’s soul until her tongue clicks. “How would you describe your relationship with Jack?”
Samira almost stutters, “We…we’re colleagues.”
Trinity raises a single eyebrow. Samira can’t stand it, “And good friends I guess!” Samira’s shoulders have now reached her neck.
After what seems to be the longest evaluation, her eyes widen in stupor. “Oh,” Trinity blinks at her, taking a step back to examine her in her totality. “You really really don’t know.”
or: everyone knows they're dating except Samira.

Summary
Jack sighs. “It’s the right move, though. You’re going to do great things, I know it. And PTMC … Let’s face it. It was only holding you back.”
“That’s not true.”
“It is. You deserve to be surrounded by people who see what an incredible and capable doctor you are.”
“I have you.”
“That’s not enough.”
“Why?”
“Because you’ll always have me. No matter where you go; no matter where you are.”

Summary
Samira Mohan doesn’t lose- Well, except maybe to anyone coached by Jack Abbot. The infuriatingly composed legend is responsible for every professional defeat on her record.
So when she’s knocked out of Wimbledon by a 17 year-old, coached by Jack, of course- Samira thinks it can’t get worse. Then he’s named head coach of Team USA for the Paris Olympics.
If she wants the one title she’s never won- Olympic gold- she’ll have to train under the man who’s not only outmaneuvered her for years, but who haunts her thoughts and dreams far more than she’d like to admit.
She hates him.
At least, she thinks she does.
But the more time they spend together, the more she's unsure what burns hotter- resentment, or something far more dangerous.Bookmarked by rainhoe

Summary
Samira was almost to the locker room when she crashed headfirst into Nazely. Wearing a bloodied trauma gown and an ashen expression, the young doctor paused before speaking.
“Dr. Mohan, d-did you get our messages? We’ve been calling you for a few hours.”
“What messages? I'm not late,” Samira frowned, at that moment taking a look at her phone for the first time since last night and immediately feeling dizzy at what she saw. Over 30 missed calls, all from PTMC, and what looked to be dozens and dozens of text messages.
“Oh my god,” Nazely stuttered, “you don’t know.” Her eyes beneath the trauma goggles slowly welled up as she mumbled something incoherently for a minute before Samira heard someone call out from Trauma 5 about needing more O-neg.
That's Jack's blood type, Samira thought.

Summary
Samira Mohan moves at her own pace. In the trauma bay, over a complex diagnosis, and especially around men who think a family surname grants them open access to her floor.
Titus Danforth isn't used to hearing the word no, let alone abiding by it... Until the night everything falls apart.
A hostile altercation in the ER sets off an unexpected chain of events. Donor negotiations turn into personal sparring matches, late-night dinners turn into something far more volatile, and both of them are forced to figure out what they stand to lose when the boundary line disappears entirely.

Summary
A Queen. Her prosperous nation. A vow of alliance.
A King. A legacy marred by blood. A marriage.
What had they gotten themselves into?
ORR
Samira did not understand why an attack was planned, or why it "Chet" was evoked for the first time in 50 years. She did not understand what a recluse such as Jack Abbot would gain by marrying the Queen of Saundarya. She did understand one thing, this was a mission years in the making, and the fear and turmoil Boar had caused her citizens by kidnapping their innocent family members made her realise that Jack Abbot was not to be trusted. Not in trade, not in warfare, not in alliance, and certainly not in marriage.
