Summary
When Marinette turns 21 and is finally of age to pick up her soulmate journal, she expects to immediately be put in contact with a certain blond crush of hers like she's always dreamed of. However, when she opens up the journal to find it already half filled with entries from a soulmate who had long given up on ever getting a reply, she wonders what cruel joke the universe must be playing on her.
When Gabriel hears the tell-tale sound of pencil against paper coming from a long forgotten leather-bound journal, he nearly thinks he's imagining things. After all, he'd long given up on believing in the soulmate system and had moved on to find love elsewhere. I think it’s important for people to set boundaries and stick to them.
Izuku walks into the classroom dreading the day already while he nervously fiddles with his backpack straps. The adults would always say that Boys will be Boys and that the other kids will be more mature and better in Aldera, but seeing as those adults were the ones ignoring it in the first place, and that there's a vase of spider lilies on Izuku’s desk right now, he doesn’t much believe them.
Which brings him back to the point: there are set lines for everything.
Izuku can handle a lot of things. He doesn’t mind the teasing, and the name calling, and the occasional tripping, and the stolen property, or vandalization, or not having any frie-- getting off track. But suicide-baiting?
No.
That’s a line.

One night when he was going to end it all, he's stopped by one of his mates, Touya Todoroki; now known as Dabi. That was the first and last time Izuku had seen him, at least until he appears with his other mate, Tamaki Amajiki, months later.

In this AU Izuku is quirkless and decides to give up on being a hero in his last year of middle school and instead of trying for Yuuei or any other school he instead continues his education online. After the first two weeks of online school Izuku realises he hasn't interacted with anyone in a while and decides to try out streaming games since he's never been one for games before (always too busy chasing hero fights for anything else) and finds that games can be fun and sometimes cathartic to play. Of course as he delves into online muliplayers he finds himself an unexpected grumpy online friend with the gamer tag _DK__

His quirk works in the way where he collects the DNA of other people through skin to skin contact and combines it with his own to make a baby. A side effect of this quirk is that it negates any quirk that can hurt him so as to protect him and any child he may carry.
