Summary
Getting pumped full of morphine was fun for a while. No pain, no anxiety, no thoughts, just… floating. Being spoon-fed lukewarm mashed potatoes and lumpy gravy by the doting nurses was alright, too. (Pissing and shitting in a bedpan afterward less so, but after all the injuries and hospital stays he’d accumulated over the last year, he’s almost too used to it to care.)
What was driving him up the walls was the fact that nobody had told him how Kacchan was doing for what felt like an eternity and no amount of thrashing or shouting or swearing could sway them.
Now he knows they did it to protect him.

Atsumu asks, eyes going wide. And, "Dating?" and, "A woman?" and, "Are they sure they've got their facts straight?"
He stops and starts chuckling to himself, "Ha, straight. See what I did there?"

Gerard moves his legs out of the way, giving Frank more room to make himself comfortable in their tiny shared space. "I just went through all the mail Brian gave me this morning. There's this one thing, I don't really know what to make of it."
"Fanmail? Is someone offering to drink your piss again?" Frank can't stop the shameless grin that spreads across his face. Rolling his eyes, Gerard replies, "No, you pervert, nothing like that." He kicks at Frank's legs half-heartedly but then grins back. "It's from the Public Relations team of this upcoming movie, 'Twilight.' Ever heard of it?"

Tobio wants to kick himself.
He really shouldn't have stopped running regularly when it got colder outside. But his new laptop and the countless “Best Moments of the London Summer Olympics 2012” compilation videos on Youtube were just too tempting.
He probably wouldn’t have changed anything in his daily routine at all until the early spring months, if he’s being honest. He’s still in shape, hasn’t gained any weight worth mentioning and could easily hold his ground in any practice match or extra training they’d thrown at him in the last couple of months.
And he just fucking hates the cold. So why not just take life a little easier when it’s all but freezing outside? So he did exactly that.
Until it came to bite him in the ass.

“Spit it out, man,” Simon said, not unkindly, if a little annoyed.

Simon blinked. “What?”
