Summary
After Mark and gang rescue Kieran from Faerie in TDA, Mark refuses to lie to Kieran about why he's here in the institute, about them still being together, and trusts that Kieran will do the right thing. Still not in possession of his memory, Kieran is tired, confused - and after Mark tells him the truth, breaks down. Mark is there for him.
Fic starts one day after they've made it back to the institute. Mark takes Jules' suggestion to lie - for one whole day. Then decides it's unbearable to him and unfair to Kier, and spills.

Malfoy turns slowly, careful not to dislodge Harry’s hand. He swallows, Adam's apple bobbing, then speaks, his voice low. “Don’t start something you won’t finish.”
