He was already a tall dude but this guy was roughly a foot taller than him. Outweighing him by probably about four or five times. One hundred percent muscle.
Mordecai felt his veins go cold at the scowl on the man’s face.
But the man’s face brightened at the attention into a smile that was somehow just as intimidating as the frown.

Bennett tries, and fails, to swallow back the overwhelming feeling of, of giddy excitement and genuine joy that blooms inside him at the fact that Razor wants to travel with him. That he wants to... to go out of his way to keep Bennett safe.

They were little things, really. Tiny. Insignificant details to those who hadn’t had the pleasure of falling in love with Xingqiu. Because that was it, wasn’t it? Chongyun was in love with Xingqiu. He was in love with his best friend and couldn’t, for the love of the Sevens, stop falling.

Summary
He's certainly happy to meet his voiceless demands; it is still early enough that they're both cast in shadows and fuzzy lines, and he can hardly hear his own breathing over Zhongli's light snores. He drifts in and out of consciousness for what feels like seconds but may be near an hour, he can't quite tell.
At least, until a ray of sunlight filters through the window and straight into his eyes, rousing him against his wishes. Childe clenches them shut, making a noise of protest in the back of his throat.
It is not the most elaborate prayer Rex Lapis has ever heard, but it works miracles.
