Some love for Patroclus because in the Iliad he is much more capable than he is in the book, The Song of Achilles.
And I am simply forgetting and forgoing the fact that they, you know, died at the end.
Basically just Achilles' POV where he dotes over Patroclus and also a modern era scene where they reunite. -

Summary

His life implodes when he is attacked by a strange beast on his way home from work. If it weren’t for Kaeya, a beautiful knight summoned from the past, Diluc would have been monster dinner.
Neither Diluc nor Kaeya know why Mondstadt is suddenly bustling with monsters that hunt adepts of magic, but one thing is sure: they can count on each other.

“Checkmate” Crepus says as he takes the obvious opening Kaeya had left for him.
Kaeya smiles. “ Guess you beat me again master Crepus.”
Crepus hums in response, giving himself a little breathing room before confronting Kaeya.
“I know you’re letting me win.”
