The younger man said, "How're you feeling?" and reached his hand towards Scott's face.
On impulse, Scott pulled away from the touch. The young man paused for a brief moment before cupping Scott's jaw and stroking his thumb over his stubble.
"What're you—" Scott said while rolling his head away as far as the pain would let him.
The young man froze for a moment, the traces of relief in his expression quickly diminishing, and eventually retracted his hand.
"Scott, what's wrong?" the young man asked.
Scott's eyes flicked between his bedside guests. "Who— Who are you?"

Summary
They sit there for a second, eyes locked and full of mirth, her self-satisfied smirk as she takes another sip, drops of tea rolling down his rounded cheeks, and then it’s over, they’re both cackling, her deep belly laugh that she rarely lets out mixing with his pleased giggle. She feels giddy, silly in a way that used to feel familiar but hasn’t as of late, free. She manages another sip of tea, actually swallowing this time, but not before Ted can jerk his arms up in surrender, eliciting a fresh burst of laughter from both of them.
Just another attempt at salvaging season 3, starting from the end of 3x10.

The last timestamp says May 2 and he aches a little bit with the fact that it's been three months since they even spoke like this, let alone over the phone or, God forbid, in person. That ache moves his fumbling fingers and suddenly the newest timestamp says Now and when he looks at the message, his nauseous stomach turns even more.

Ted recognized the front of the shop on his way back that afternoon, Henry strapped to his chest instead of in his stroller, awake, happily observing everything around him. The day had exhausted him, as if every task had taken double the energy today than it would have taken any other day. He hesitated, moving out of the line of people walking, looking up at the sign above the door. The woman he’d seen, the one who nearly ran into him, she had come out of this shop, hadn’t she?
He didn’t know what he expected, but seeing a sign that said The Earl Greyhound was not it.

Rebecca’s tumbling forward, the pavement rushing up to meet her and with sudden clarity she realizes that this is it — that she’s going to meet her end on some grimey, gum-covered Manhattan throughway with a stomach full of subpar champagne — when a grounding hand wraps around her bicep and hauls her upward, saving her from certain catastrophe.
“Oh boy,” the man starts, “Y’alright?”
And she is, really — except she’s suddenly gone lightheaded at the familiar voice of her savior, his accent just as jarring as when he’d walked into her office ten years ago.
She can hardly believe it, but the moment she shifts in his arms and their eyes meet she realizes he’s real; that this isn’t some fantasy she’s conjured up but rather some serendipitous encounter she hadn’t realized she’s been yearning for.
“Ted Lasso,” she breathes, failing to keep the awe out of her voice. “My God.”
