Summary
description rewrite:
It was the something that felt similar to how Nancy felt in the form of sweaty palms and bright eyed, teenaged excitement when she started dating Steve those many years ago. It was the something that felt like the adoration she once felt for Jonathan.
And now she felt it with Robin, and it was different. It was softer - it felt right. Robin had somehow created the perfect man for Nancy, and he existed on a piece of paper. She played the part so well that Nancy almost believed she could be him.
aka
Nancy, Robin, and Steve finally agree to play D&D with Eddie. Nancy and Robin’s characters have an in-game romance, and it bleeds into the real world.

Summary
Mike's life is split in three categories; the life he should have, the life he wants to have, and the life he has to have. Currently, he's living in limbo between all three; he'll never have that white-picket fence and suburban wife, not when the only girl he could try to love has left him, and while he's finding it harder to live the life he has to have— the life where he hides himself so deep, not even the people he loves know who he is— he'll never get the life he wants, either.
Limbo sucks, to put it simply. He's so close to what he wants (which is Will, no matter how hard he tries to shove it down) but he just can't push past that barrier and talk to Will, not when everything he does always feels wrong.
But, maybe, Mike might come to learn that what he wants isn’t so bad, after all.
(Or; Mike's struggle with his internalized homophobia— among other things, including the concept of free will, Robin Buckley's mildly terrifying presence, and wanting things Mike's sure he doesn't deserve— structured around the five stages of grief. You can mourn a life you'll never live, and you can mourn someone you haven't actually lost.)

Summary
Nothing bad ever happened in Hawkins— well, except for one missing persons case last year— but that had nothing to do with Freddy Fazbear's Pizza.
Steve's the daytime security guard at Freddy's, keeping all the little nuggets safe while Robin runs the prize counter like it's the goddamn navy. Nancy has to babysit Mike and his friends at the arcade because their mother is worried another kid might go missing.
Nobody expects it's Fazbear's fault when her worries are proven right.(This is a ronance-centric fic that'll take it's sweet-ass time with the rom-com before the horror kicks in.)

Summary
Nancy is five, and school is terrifying.
On the first day, she wears a lovely dress — white with blue and red lines, because it looks like notebook paper — and a matching bow, and she has a very nice backpack that her mom put on credit at Melvald's, so Nancy is very careful to hang it safely on the hook in her cubby so it doesn't touch the ground.
A girl appears beside her, and she looks just as timid as Nancy feels — because Nancy's face is always a perfectly controlled thing, even at five years old.
——
OR: a character study on Nancy Wheeler and why she is so controlled. and how, for the right person, she learns to let that vice grip on control slip just a little bit

Summary
There was once a knight who was equally brave and wise. This valiant knight was forced to hide their true identity, as they would not be seen as any of those adjectives; they would be a disgrace and a disappointment. After losing their family in a fire when the knight was only a few seasons old, they were left to the streets. A certain wealthy and noble family took in the young orphan. The Kingsley family nurtured the child until they could no longer. They knew the child would never truly be allowed into the royal world, so at the age of sixteen, the young one was sent off with a few pairs of clothes and some gold coins, enough to hold them over until they could get on their feet.
