Summary
He rubs her thighs, once, twice, then moves his hand back toward her hip. She twitches, lifts toward him.
“Okay. Let’s talk about lifestyle habits. It’s important to eat properly. Get enough sleep. Take care of yourself.”
She squirms. He catches her wrist, holds it gently against the wood grain.
“I think we should talk about that,” he adds. “Taking care of yourself.”
Her eyes drop.
“You spend a lot of time taking care of other people in your, uh, line of work. When do you take time for yourself?”
She shrugs, her only response a low exasperated sound, as though he’s boring her, as though he’s being wholly unreasonable, which makes him want to kiss her, shake sense into her, or both.
"Thirty minutes for yourself each day,” he tells her. “And keep track of it. Agreed?”OR: mel and frank are freak4freak

Summary
“Mel,” Frank said softly, “can I tell you something?”
“Yes,” Mel replied, even softer, her gaze flicking back and forth from one eye to the other. “You can tell me anything.”
A dark look shadowed his face for a second before he leaned back in his seat, braced his hands against the steering wheel until his arms were completely straight, and blew a raspberry.
Then he exhaled roughly - similar to the raspberry, but without so much involvement of the lips. “You can’t judge,” he told her then, glancing in her direction. “Okay?”
She was resisting the urge to start twirling her butterfly ring around her finger. “Just tell me, Frank,” she said, “you’re making me nervous.”
“I’m trying, I’m trying. Not to make you nervous, I’m trying to tell you. That…” He looked away from her again, back out the car window, and clenched his fists around the steering wheel until his knuckles turned white. Then he dropped his hands in his lap. “I had a sex dream the other night,” he told her, with a weird sense of finality. “About you.”

It’s that time of year…PTMC Summer League baseball is in our midst. I know there wasn’t an emergency department team last year, so let’s try to revive the long standing tradition of The Pitt dominance. Three time league champs—this summer is the year we go for four.

Summary
"So are you a Survivor superfan?" He asks—be normal Frank, be normal—walking toward some rocks at the far end of the beach.
"Huge," Mel says with a wide smile. "What about you?"
"Me, not really," Frank admits. "I watched a few seasons here and there," —one season, if he's honest— "and I auditioned just for fun," —he hadn't even known that Theo had sent in that stupid video— "and now here I am."
"Here you are," Mel echoes and Frank finds himself a little lost in the melody of her voice. It's lower than maybe he would expect, but the flow of it is an easy rhythm, a pleasing melody.
Entrancing.
"Here we are." Finds it necessary to add on, and the smile that blooms on Mel's face tells him he's said the right thing.
Fuck.
Or, the Survivor AU.

Summary
"Didn’t make any friends during orientation?”
She laughed- then stopped abruptly because that was actually not a joke. “Um…no. I don’t make friends easily.”
She waited for him to look at her with pity, or offer false reassurances. He looked mildly contemplative instead. “I think most people’s ‘friends’ are actually just acquaintances, anyway.”
Mel blinked. “You think so?”
“It’s important to remember that most people are bullshitting you like…at least sixty percent of the time.”
Mel wasn’t sure if this extended to him. If it did, would he tell her? Probably not.
