Summary
In the year leading up to the Calamity, the Kingdom of Hyrule is preparing in any way it can. Many of these responsibilities have fallen to Princess Zelda. Follow from her perspective as she researches the Sheikah, recruits the Champions, and struggles with her internal battle of awakening her power, her jealousy of her appointed knight, and her lack of support from her father.
This work is mostly canon-compliant as I chronologically organized the memories within BOTW, the excerpts on Zelda Notes, the in-game diary entries, and the Champions Ballad memories. I worked really hard on this, so pls enjoy!

A dark fantasy illustrated reinterpretation of the Era of the Wild and the sacred cult of Hylia, spanning from the pre-Calamity years through the rebuilding of Hyrule and into the aftermath of the Demon King’s fall.
