Summary
A long time ago in a galaxy far, far away there was a little gay boy named Merlin. It is a period of prolonged space travel. You know how in Interstellar how they all sleep on the way to space well imagine instead of that they build whole-ass generations on the ship. So its that and Arthur is like let's say 6th generation. Uther separated Merlin and Arthur when they were gay kids and now they are gay adults use your fucking imagination jesus christ. He’s also a social justice warrior.
“Well, you look great.” He thinks he looks great. Holy shit.
“You, you look great too. You got tall and buff.” Why the fuck did he just say that? Who in their right mind says that? You got tall and buff what the fuck? Arthur is dying inside. His cheeks are heating up. Sonic is meowing again. What the hell is going on?
Merlin laughs a real, hearty laugh that hasn’t changed at all. It's a beautiful sound.

“I have a plan. I’ve created a parallel of heaven made to hold the strongest of creatures. It can act like a new Empty. A new afterlife for angels, demons, all of them.”
“You’re going to replace the empty? That’s the plan?”
“Yes, Sam.”
15x20 fix-it in which they save Cas, end the empty storyline, and finally get their happy ending.

“So what’s up with- Dude, again?” Sam’s voice rings through the room incredulously.
Dean grunts in response.
“You can’t possibly still be tired. Like, I feel like this should be physically impossible.”
“Tell that to my melatonin levels.”
“How do you know what melatonin is?”
Dean does his best to roll his eyes under the cover of his eyelids. “Jesus, Sam, I’m not an idiot. Will you shut up so I can sleep?”
He hears Sam huff. “Ya know, if you wanted to nap, you could always use that thing you have called a bed.”
“Not the same,” Dean grumbles. His body doesn’t get all loose when he’s laying in his bed watching horror movies. The synapses that slow their firing contentedly seem to be wired to that same invisible bodily response of the outside world, and apparently being in the openness of his family’s space turns his brain into mush. “Now unless someone’s dying, I’m beggin’ you to shut up.”

Dean had it all mapped out. He’d start his degree in Religious Studies at community college, finish it at his state university, then come right back home once he graduated. He’d prove to his father that he was a good son by making himself an educated future pastor, and by resisting any and all sinful urges that festered in college campuses.
Unfortunately, meeting his ex-evangelical roommate covered in tattoos wasn't something he'd prepared for.
Lust was one sin he’d successfully fought off his whole life, but he was no match for falling in love, of all godforsaken things.
