He looked up to see a tall, lean figure standing in the doorway, watching him with a strange look in his eyes (not a bad sort of strange, mind, it just wasn't an expression Peter had ever seen on Mike). The usual cool composure wasn't quite there; his arms hung loosely at his sides rather than their usual place crossed over his chest, like he had been caught off guard. He looked sort of lost. Sort of small.
