"It's close to 10PM, they both have work in the morning, so she's about to quit the app and turn off her phone when she sees a random post from a random person that she's sure she's never followed before.
It just says 'strapwarming'. No context, no explanation. The poster was not worth noting. Just that one word, but the effect to Baran's gut is akin to an uppercut.
The thought of a strap inside her, unmoving and unrelenting for hours, with Trinity's low groans and pants reaching her ears while she sits on top of them and doing nothing makes her feel a little insane."

Trinity can feel everything leaching at her, knows she's getting bad again when the nightmares start up after a few blissful months of reprieve, bad enough that she's given up her much coveted space in the middle of the three of them to Baran so when she wakes gasping, she doesn't have to disturb anyone when she slides out of bed. Can feel the insecurity and the anxiety, the very edges of the spiral in her brain beginning to turn, to coalesce into something more insidious.

Then realizes what she’s doing and forces herself to stop, taking a breath as silence settles over the room.
“… Yolanda?” Trinity asks softly, turning her head slightly.
She’s met with the quiet image of her already asleep, curls messy across her face, her cheek resting against the pillow.
