Summary
The boy was huddled in an old blanket that had once belonged to his cousin, Dudley, but he had outgrown it far too quickly (and not in the vertical sense), rendering it surplus to requirements. He was fighting back tears: from the pain, from the injustice, from the desperate desire for comfort from anyone at all. The door to his cupboard creaked open with a barely audible sound, and a tall woman stood before him. She was slightly shorter than Petunia, though not as gaunt as his aunt. Blinded by tears and his poor eyesight—which his relatives had point-blank refused to have corrected—the boy could barely make out the woman’s face, but she smelled of something bitter and fragrant, like proper herbal soap. The boy had once seen a photograph of a girl with curly hair in his aunt’s room and had privately decided, not daring to ask his relatives, that it was his mother. The woman before him had the same wild, bushy hair, though in the poor light, or rather the near total lack of it, he couldn’t make out its colour.
“Are you my mum?” the child whispered, hiccupping with the force of his emotions.
“Yes,” the woman whispered back, in the same tone. She held out her hand, and the boy grabbed it without a second thought.

Summary
When Trunks turns seventeen something happens between him and his best friend that forever changes their dynamic. Spurred on by a royal Saiyan instinct to have a mate, Trunks' accidentally creates a deep soulbond between them, and Goten is immediately his entire world. On Vegetasai this would be simple and accepted, but this is Earth. Trunks and Goten now have to try to fit an alien instinct into the confines of a healthy, human-enough relationship. Meanwhile the biological imperative in Trunks' head is pushing him to protect Goten at all costs, from even the most minor of threats. If they don't legitimize the claim in time, it will drive him slowly insane. This is a rewrite of my previous work, The Stages of a Claim, explanation in the beginning note.

Summary
On Trunks' sixteenth birthday an instinct is triggered in his brain. He suddenly becomes obsessed with his best friend, and refuses to let anyone else near him. In the aftermath of the claim both families will have to get used to the new couple pushed together by friendship and biology, and there are other surprises they don't yet know about half Saiyans. This is my first lemon ever, and to be honest its essentially porn with some scattered plot and fluff. Obviously very cannon divergent, and not a lot of drama to it because dammit sometimes you just want plot-driven smut. Warning: They are underage at the start of this fic and there will be consensual underage canoodling.
